Betty Jane Dobbins, 78, of Farmville, passed away, Tuesday, May 15, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harless T. and Annie Ruth Moore Dobbins and an infant brother James Albert Dobbins. Surviving are her daughter, Sandra Pope-Lynch and husband Johnny, grandchildren, John Caleb and Marie, siblings, Ann Bradford and husband Jim, Julia Toone and husband John, Harriet Lowry and husband Ray, Harless Dobbins, Jr. and wife Carole and Charlotte Schlosser and husband Arthur. Betty was a former affiliate with Crossroads which she enjoyed very much.

Graveside services were conducted 11 a.m., Friday, May 18, 2018 at Crewe Cemetery with the Rev. Brad Anders officiating. The family received friends Thursday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at Jennings-McMillian Funeral & Cremation Service, 200 W. Carolina Ave. Crewe, VA.
