Centra Health, based in Lynchburg and which facilities include the Centra Southside Community Hospital in Farmville, reinstated its regular visitation guidelines March 30.

“Effective immediately, regular visitation guidelines are back in effect,” a news release from Centra Health cited.

Its modified guidelines, which were enacted Jan. 30, were “meant to protect patients, visitors and health care providers during flu season,” the release noted.
