LYNCHBURG — Highway work requiring road, lane and structure closures is scheduled April 16-20, weather permitting. In Buckingham County crews will work shoulders on Route 633, work Rural Rustic projects on Routes 644 and 662, eradicate pavement markings in advance of surface treatment on Routes 1001 and 1003, cut brush, work surfaces and respond to customer concerns. In Cumberland County, crews will be performing surface treatment work at various locations on Routes 624, 626, 627, 632 and 724; delays are likely. Crews will work surfaces, add shoulder stone at mailboxes, cut brush and respond to customer concerns. In Prince Edward County, crews will perform sign maintenance on U.S. Route 360, eradicate pavement markings in advance of surface treatment on Route 622, prepare for Rural Rustic project on Route 691, plant mix treatment at various locations. Crews will cut brush, remove debris, work surfaces and respond to customer concerns throughout the county, delays are likely.
