Contrary to rumor, I’m still alive and living in Farmville. We have an outstanding candidate for the Democratic nominee for our 5th Congressional District in Leslie Cockburn (pronounced Coe’ burn). She is a renowned international journalist with positions on all issues that favor people over oligarchs and corporate behemoths.

In our last election almost all of the flipped seats in the Virginia legislature were won by women candidates. We have a very fine woman running to be our nominee this November. I hope you will join me in supporting Leslie Cockburn for Democratic nominee for the 5th Congressional District, our representative in the U.S. Congress.
