Heart heroes at Fuqua

This past winter, Dawn Schmidt, Fuqua Lower School physical education teacher, held the Lower School’s annual Jump Rope for Heart event. Students who raised $50 or more were honored as Heart Heroes and recently received a Heart Hero T-shirt. Kindergartner Levi Price, pictured above, from Tracy Carilli’s K/1 classroom, also received a Heart Hero medal for raising the most money of any student at the Lower School. Price raised $375 for the American Heart Association. Congratulations to Price and to all of those who were honored as Heart Heroes. You have made a difference in the life of someone who is a survivor of, or currently suffers from, heart disease.
