Hampden-Sydney College’s baseball team earned a pair of victories Saturday before dropping a game Sunday in the H-SC Classic.

The Tigers (5-2) lost 9-0 to Denison University on Sunday, finishing with four errors and only three hits.

They ended Saturday with an 11-10 victory over Denison after senior Devin Daugherty hit a walk-off single that scored junior Blake Hartman.

The Tigers recorded 17 hits, and senior Moe Gothe went 3-for-5 at the plate.

Earlier in the day, H-SC topped York College, of Pennsylvania, 11-4. The Tigers had 14 hits, and Hartman went 3-for-4.
