Pews were filled at Farmville Presbyterian Church on Sunday afternoon as the Commonwealth Chorale delivered a strong performance of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s “Requiem” followed by selections from the Easter portion of Georg Frideric Handel’s “Messiah.” Norma Williams offered clear direction, and Richmond organist Jeffrey Hummel provided impressive accompaniment. The Chorale will be performing again at 3 p.m. Sunday at Farmville United Methodist Church, which is located at 212 High St.
