The Fuqua Lower School has been invaded by Ozobots, tiny robots that teach students all about programming. This is part of Fuqua School’s STEAM education program, presenting an innovative way to teach subjects like programming, math and science in the classroom. Monica Coleman, Lower School media specialist, is working with Lower School students teaching them the ins and outs of coding. Students use a chart to draw a pathway for the Ozobot to turn, speed up, stop and spin. Fuqua Lower School first grader Abby Harris is amazed as the Ozobot followed the line that she created on her paper.
