Paul Donald Ruegg, 82, formerly of Williamsburg and Meherrin, passed away Feb. 7, 2018 in Glen Allen, VA. He was preceded in death by his parents Minnie and Edwin Ruegg of Meherrin, VA; his sisters Marie Ruegg Hayes, Anna Ruegg Pollard, and Jean Ruegg Vizthum; his brother Ens. Edwin “Bubby” Ruegg; niece Kaaren Hayes Osby (Ken) and nephews David Pollard (Michele) and Edwin Hayes (Pat). “Nuncle” is survived by niece Carolyn Sadler Hawthorne (Paul); nephews Harry Sadler (Diana), Sterling Sadler (Linda), Nick Hayes, Mark Pollard (Debbie), Garland Pollard (Linda); and numerous cousins, great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be noon Saturday, Feb. 17 at Meherrin Methodist Church. Funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. at the Church. Following the service and interment, friends and family will gather at Sheldon’s in Keysville. The family would like to thank the teams and residents at Blayton Building, Elizabeth House, and Capital Caring for their care and support.
