Madeline’s House is the local shelter/crisis center for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. It’s a small nonprofit located in Farmville, serving survivors in Central/Southside Virginia.

“Madeline’s House recently moved into a new facility in Farmville, and they are gathering art to put in their new place, “They don’t want it to be generic “hotel art”; it’s important to them that we put up good quality, unique art from our community.

“They hope this will make the shelter feel like a welcoming, healing environment while also getting the community involved. They are asking for CVA members to donate art for their new facility. They can accommodate art of all sizes. Any piece of art you donate would be deductible for income tax purposes. Talk to your accountant about whether it would be deductible for you,” officials said in a press release.
