Robin Sapp, Director of the Cumberland County Public Library, was the guest speaker at the Jan. 11

meeting of the Woman’s Club of Cumberland, GFWC. She discussed the REVIVE program (Opioid Overdose and Naloxone Education for Virginia). Sapp will host a 90-minute hands-on Lay Rescuer training event on understanding and responding to an opioid overdose emergency using Naloxone on Monday, Jan. 22. Free training provides instruction on when and how to administer Naloxone. No prior medical knowledge is needed.
