Knights fall 65-58 to chargers on the hardwood

Buckingham County High School’s varsity boys basketball team lost 65-58 at home on Tuesday against Central Lunenburg High School. Despite the loss, Knights sophomore forward Jalen Chambers notched his first career double-double, contributing 16 points and 10 rebounds. Sophomore guard Trevor Kelly added 14 points, and freshman forward Gerry Toney pulled down 16 rebounds. As of Wednesday evening, the Knights (4-6) were set to visit Nottoway High School on Friday at 7 p.m.
