The Rev. Lee Watkins Jr., 68, of Chesterfield, formerly of Farmville, the Pastor of Cornerstone Baptist Church, Farmville, a retired employee of Defense Supply Center Richmond and an United States Air Force Veteran, departed this life Dec. 16, 2017. Surviving are his wife Sheila Jackson Watkins; two sons, Bakari L. and Omari A. Watkins; his daughter, KaMaria Watkins-Wiggins; eight grandchildren, 1 God-daughter, three brothers; his Aunt Cora Bell Thornton; other relatives and friends.

A memorial reception (casual attire) will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday Dec. 21 at Cornerstone Baptist Church, Farmville, 16 Horsepen Rd., Farmville, VA. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 22, at First Baptist Church, 100 S. Main Street Farmville. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Cornerstone Baptist Church building fund. Interment will be private.
