John Henry Robertson, 89 of Cumberland, departed this life on Friday Dec. 15, 2017 in Cumberland, Va. He is survived by his wife Louise Robertson, four step-daughters, Shirley Ward, Elaine Lonon, Eloise Truesdale and Virginia Dortch, 21 step-grandchildren, numerous step-great grandchildren, one brother Robert Robertson, two aunts, Eleanor Dangerfield, Katherine Smith, one sister-in-law, Essie Robertson, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

His remains rest at Marian Gray Thomas Funeral Home of Cumberland. Funeral services will be held Friday, 1 p.m. at Mount Olive Baptist Church, Cumberland with interment in the church cemetery with Rev. Alvin Witcher pastor, officiating. www.mariangraythomasfuneralhome.com.
