The first snow of the season came on Dec. 8-9 and a beautiful snow it was. Some of us lost power for a little while.

The Panto “Aladdin” was delightful. There were six shows with each being a sold-out crowd. The next production for the Waterworks Players, “The Charitable Sisterhood of the Second Trinity Victory Church,” by Bo Wilson and directed by Dudley Sauve will be Feb. 16, 17, 23 and 24. The Farmville and surrounding area are very fortunate to have such talented people around and willing to volunteer their time to put on these excellent shows for us. If you have not been to a show you are missing out.

Mrs. Flora Bolt attended the Curdsville Christmas dinner the entertainment was provided by the First Baptist Church choir, of Dillwyn, the program was of Christmas music.
