The Woman’s Club Buckingham County General Federation of Women’s Club (GFWC) attended the Alice Kyle Fall District Meeting held at the Appomattox Inn and Suites in Appomattox in October. The meeting was called to order by Gwen Hamlet. A business meeting followed. School supplies were presented to Robert Day, of Patrick Henry Boys and Girls School. A brunch was held followed by a silent auction of baskets donated by each of the many clubs in the district.
