The stars of success shine bright

The United Way of Prince Edward County reports that it has raised more than $14,900 in its first quarter — making it 27 percent of the way toward its goal of $55,000 to raise for distribution to its 19 partners. Evidenced above, members of the group’s board of directors recently celebrated their success by placing the first of five stars on the board in front of Citizen’s Bank & Trust Co., located on South Main Street. We commend and offer our thank to the organization, which makes two allocations each fiscal year. The first for the 2017-18 year will be in January.
