The Fuqua Middle School recently held their Student Cooperative Organization (SCA) elections.

According to a press release, the middle school SCA helps plan certain student events such as dances, participating in reading the morning announcements,and clean-up projects around the middle school grounds.

“Elected officers are as follows: Olivia Elam, president; George Magnotti, vice president; Meredith Schmidt, secretary; Rachel Mason, treasurer; and Jackson Whaley, reporter. Elam, Magnotti and Schmidt are in the eighth grade, and Mason and Whaley are in the seventh grade. Mrs. Kathy Andrews is the SCA Middle School Advisor. Officers and room representatives meet with Head of Middle School Cameron Rhew the first Friday of every month to discuss school events and concerns.”
