Farmville Mayor David Whitus signed a proclamation recognizing Sept. 17-23 as Constitution Week. This is the 230th anniversary of the signing of the U.S. Constitution, a document that gives us our liberties and freedoms. The members of the Judith Randolph-Longwood Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution celebrate Constitution Week each year.
