The Farmville Recreation Department is offering karate classes for ages 8 and older three times a week on the second floor of the South Street Conference Center at 124 South St.

The classes take place Tuesdays and Thursdays 7-9 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m.-noon.

Participation costs will vary and those interested are advised to check www.farmvilleva.com/departments/recreation for program fees.
