The Heart of Virginia Master Gardeners happily present everything pumpkin for the Oct. 5 Lunch and Learn Program. This is for anyone who gets just a little bit excited about the promise of cooler weather and fall.

“This month’s speaker, S.J. Drummond, will indeed include everything that’s anything about pumpkins,” officials said in a press release. “She’ll cover pumpkin dishes, pumpkin decorating and pumpkin Pinteresting.” 

According to the press release, Drummond is a Mississippi transplant with two out of three children out of the nest. “She is a Master Gardener, teacher/librarian at Fuqua School, and an event floral designer,” officials said in the release.

Located in the conference room of the Prince Edward County Virginia Cooperative Extension Office, located at 100 Dominion Drive in Farmville, this Lunch and Learn Program is free and open to all. Don’t miss it.
