Four Prince Edward County High School students attended the National Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Leadership Conference held June 29-July 2 in Anaheim, California. The students who advanced from the state competition competed in digital video production, public speaking, introduction to business procedures and business calculations, according to a press release from the school division. “During the conference, students participated in many workshops and networking opportunities with students from around the U.S. and several international chapters. Tiba Hamza placed eighth in the nation in introduction to business procedures. Her teacher and FBLA adviser is Jessica Tibbs.” We commend the entire team, including Hamza, pictured at left with Division Superintendent Dr. Barbara Johnson.
