A benefit service will be held for James M. Carrington on Saturday at 4 p.m. at the Prince Edward County High School Auditorium in Farmville.

“James is battling cancer and the medical bills are continuing to accumulate. Our help is needed and any donation amount will be appreciated,” officials said in a press release.

A One Hundred Voice Choir, under the direction of Perry Carrington, will render music and the Rev. Dr.  James H. Taylor III, pastor of Jericho Baptist Church, will deliver a brief message.
