Mildred Hodges Croxton

Mildred Hodges Croxton age 78 passed away on August 12, 2017 at her home in Mechanicsville after a long battle with Parkinson. She retired from the US Postal Service in Chester after many years as a rural carrier. She loved people and enjoyed serving them in all of her jobs and in everyday life. She lived her life with the belief that it is more important to do things then to have things.

She is survived by her daughter Marjorie Loya (Joe), son Michael Croxton, 3 grandchildren; Amber, Jacob, Katie, 4 great grandchildren; Kyan, Breeson, Maylend, Trestin and sister Peggy Bowen (Carrol).

She was preceded in death by her parents Cornilius and Nellie Hodges and her husband Earl Mitchell Croxton.

A graveside funeral will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 2:00PM in Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery, Green Bay Rd.
