Katlyn Hanson, of Farmville, was named to the dean’s list at the University of New Haven, Connecticut for the Spring 2017 semester. Hanson earned two bachelor’s degrees, a bachelor of science in forensic science with a concentration in chemistry from the Henry C. Lee College of Criminal Justice and Forensic Sciences and a bachelor of science in chemistry. According to a press release, full-time undergraduate students must have a 3.5 GPA or better cumulative GPA for the semester to be eligible for the dean’s list.
