The Eggleston Foundation, in conjunction with the Prince Edward County Elks Lodge, held a back to school rally Tuesday to give students their necessary school supplies prior to the start of the school year. The rally included Prince Edward County leaders reminding students of the importance of respect in order to continue a meaningful education. We commend these individuals for encouraging our future leaders to remember traits that will ultimately lead to their success. Pictured are, from left, Prince Edward County Sheriff Wesley W. Reed, Commonwealth’s Attorney Megan Clark, Prince Edward County Public Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Barbara Johnson, Farmville Police Chief A.Q. “Andy” Ellington, Supervisor of Bus Transportation Torrey Holmes and Carl U. Eggleston. (Send “Way to Go!” photos with a description and names to WayToGo@FarmvilleHerald.com.)
