Join the Master Gardeners on Aug. 3, for the latest Lunch and Learn program “All about Lawns.” According to a press release, presented by Kevin F. Camm, this program will cover a wide range of topics that just might provide answers to some of your questions or concerns. In his presentation, Camm will include information about summer and fall maintenance, soil testing, whether or not to irrigate, over seeding and alternatives to lawns.

“Bring your lunch to this free program and learn about how to maximize your efforts to have a great lawn,” officials said in the release.

Kevin F. Camm is the dual agent for 4-H and Agriculture & Natural Resources, as well as Unit Coordinator for Virginia Cooperative Extension in Lynchburg. Among his accomplishments, Camm received a Masters in Agriculture and Life Sciences from Virginia Tech, is the vice president for the Virginia Extension Service Association, and is president of the Lynchburg Area Food Council. He is passionate about the benefits of urban agriculture. He will present “All about Lawns” on Aug. 3 at noon in the conference room of the Prince Edward County Virginia Cooperative Extension Office, 100 Dominion Drive, Farmville.
