Joseph Wayne “Joe” Adkins, 40, of Kenbridge, formerly of Crewe, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2017.  He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Adkins, and grandfather, Joseph Tatum. 

Joe is survived by a son, Raylan; mother, Diana Tatum Glover of Meherrin; sister, Stephanie McCraw (John) of Blackstone; brother, Richard Calhoun, Jr. of Powhatan; grandmother, Peggy T. Newman of Meherrin; girlfriend, Tylea Lynch and children, Haley and Cannon, all of Kenbridge; nieces, Kayla and Shauna McCraw; nephews, Hunter McCraw and Apollo Calhoun; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. 

Joe was a kind and loving man, and a hard worker for Dixie Paving. 

Funeral services were held, Monday, July 3, 2017, with visitation following, at the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home, 1826 Cox Road (Bus.
