The Buckingham County Youth League (BCYL) Majors All-Star team completed its undefeated state tournament run by toppling the Dinwiddie Nationals All-Stars 7-1 on Tuesday in Victoria and advancing to the 2017 Dixie Youth Baseball Major League World Series in Oxford, Alabama. Cam Newton, pictured above, and the BCYL Majors will represent the state of Virginia and are scheduled to face Arkansas at 8 p.m. on Aug. 5, the first day of the tournament.
