30th class reunion held

The Prince Edward County High School Class of 1987 held its 30th Year Class Reunion Celebration on June 23-24.
According to a press release, the reunion drew more than 75 class members and their guests.
A meet and greet at the Farmville Train Station was held Friday evening followed by a red carpet, star-studded alumni banquet at Longwood University’s Blackwell Hall.
Organizers said the enchanting evening brought guest speaker Dr. Odessa Pride to the podium to address the class, which was followed by dinner, dancing, pictures and more than $800 in door prizes.
The release cited the reunion committee included coordinator Kelly Kirby, Rhonda Paige-Sprague, Rick Nash, Stacy Henry and Angel West.
