The Longwood Center for the Visual Arts (LCVA) invites you to join it this summer to explore and create beautiful works of art inspired by some of your favorite children’s literature, both old and new.
According to an LCVA press release, the Summer Art Studio Program, open weekdays through Aug. 4., is bringing popular children’s books to life through art.
“This program features kid-friendly art activities for children of all ages,” officials said in the release. “Drop in any time between 11 a.m.–2 p.m. at the LCVA, on the corner of Third Street and Main Street in historic downtown Farmville.”
The program is free and no registration is required; an adult must accompany children. The release cited that the Summer Art Studio also features little artist areas for children ages 4 and younger.
