Church, business vandalisms reported

CUMBERLAND — A church, a business and several road signs have been involved in recent vandalisms in Cumberland, according to police.
One incident occurred May 21 at Midway Baptist Church on 837 Guinea Road, police say, where a deputy from the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office responded.
Police say a well casing was spray-painted with the numbers “666.”
Police said other vandalisms in the area have included road signs spray-painted on Putney Road, Guinea Road and John Randolph Road and a business sign spray-painted on Holman Mill Road.
Police said there are no suspects and the incidents remain under investigation.
