Baxter Carter Jr., middle, recently took his oath of office as president of the Student Government Association at Randolph-Macon College (R-MC) in Ashland. His election to the seat comes amid his leadership on campus and hard work in academia. We commend Carter for his being named president of his student body and wish him the very best of luck in representing his fellow students and others at the college. A rising senior, Baxter is very involved in campus life and has been named to the Omega Kappa Sigma Honors Society. Pictured with Carter are his father, Baxter Carter Sr., and his mother, Elizabeth Carter. (Send “Way to Go!” photos with a description and names to WayToGo@FarmvilleHerald.com.)
