James River State Park, 104 Green Hill Dr., Gladstone, will hold a welcome campfire at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Frog Hollow Program Area.

“Relax around the campfire, make S’mores and meet the park naturalist as well as your fellow campers,” officials said in an event release.
