Brandon Perkins, of Buckingham County, pictured above, recently experienced success in a bodybuilding competition. He noted the Organization of Competition Bodies is an all-natural bodybuilding organization, and in its Atlantic Supershow on May 13, he participated in the Men’s Bodybuilding Novice Division and placed fourth. “This is my second show I have entered, and in my first show from a year ago … I didn’t place in the Men’s Open Division,” he said. “Therefore, I had to really better prepare myself for the contest I partook (in May 13).” For the past three years, he has been training at Dillwyn’s Camryn Fitness Center, where he is a member. His training in preparation for the Atlantic Supershow consisted of cardio, weight lifting, dieting, posing and tanning in order to get on stage. “Therefore, all I have done really paid off,” he added. He intends to enter another Organization of Competition Bodies show sometime in 2018.
