The Third Thursday Book Club held its April meeting at the home of Martha Taylor. Cris Arbo, an award-winning book and magazine illustrator, was the speaker. According to club press release, Arbo described the process she uses when creating the artwork for the book she is illustrating. “The work is done by hand, without the use of a computer,” organizers said.
