Steve Richard Jamerson Jr., 50, of Buckingham, passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, May 4, 2017. 

Stevie was a First Class Lineman and traveled along the east coast, working on many job sites.

Stevie is survived by his son, Joshua Martin Jamerson, of Blacksburg; his parents, Steve and Shirley Jamerson, of Buckingham, and many friends. 

A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 12, 2017 at 5 p.m. at the Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn. 

The family will receive friends following the service.
