The winner of the Judith Randolph Longwood Chapter NSDAR JROTC Bronze Medal was Britny Price, a senior at Cumberland High School. According to a Cumberland County Public Schools’ press release, she was awarded the medal and certificate on awards and change of command day, May 3. “The winner of this award is chosen by the high school principal and the commander of the JROTC program,” officials said. “It is based on academics and outstanding military performance.” Pictured are, from left, Nancy Pempel, chapter member, Price and Jenny Bokko, chapter member.
