Craig A. Keup

Craig A. Keup, 25, of Rice, was taken from us May 5, 2017 as a result of injuries sustained in a vehicle accident that occurred in Bay County Florida.
He was born July 14, 1991 in Norfolk, the son of Andrew and Lori Keup. He attended Norfolk schools and graduated from Prince Edward County High School in 2009, where he participated in many groups, organizations and athletic teams.
Craig enlisted in the Navy in 2010, and was forward deployed to the Western Pacific onboard the USS Cowpens and the USS Antietam, later to transfer to the USS Monsoon in Bahrain. Craig was currently assigned to Panama City Florida Naval Station.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Orville and Margaret Keup, of Maribel, Wisconsin.
He is survived by his parents, Andrew and Lori Keup, of Rice; brother, Christopher and wife Ena, of Key West Florida; sister, Lauren Keup, of Rice. Craig also leaves his maternal grandparents, Robert and Linda Fox, of Auburn, Massachusetts; cousins, aunts, uncles, shipmates and many close friends who will miss him dearly.
A brief Honors Ceremony will be held at Saylors Creek State Park, Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 11 a.m.
