Elizabeth Barrere celebrated her 105th birthday on May 5. Barrere grew up on a farm on what is now Five Forks Road in Prince Edward County. Barrere enjoyed a birthday luncheon with her brothers, Harry and Ray Lowry, and other family and friends at Applebee’s restaurant.
