National Teacher’s Appreciation Week was observed May 1-5. According to an Appomattox Christian Academy (ACA) press release, students and parents adorned teachers with gifts and thank yous for their dedication of talents to the students. “Appomattox Christian Academy, a mission of St. Andrew’s REC, accredited member of ACCS, will be sending their faculty off to the Association of Classical Christian Schools Conference — ‘Repairing the Ruins 2017’ — in June,” ACA officials said. “The Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF) raised funds to help teachers ‘pack their bags’ for the conference.” The release stated the school thanks its staff and faculty for supporting the mission of ACA and St. Andrew’s REC by providing a classical Christian education for grades Pre-K through twelfth grade for the Central region of Virginia.
