Westbound travel lanes on West Third Street in downtown Farmville will be closed through the morning into the afternoon Sunday.

Mike Gaines, assistant director of public works with the Town of Farmville, said a sewer tap is being installed for the High Bridge Lofts, located at 312 W. Third St.

The lofts are set to open in August and contain 18 one, two and three bedroom apartments.

The eastbound lane remains open. Drivers approaching the westbound lanes are being rerouted.

Gaines expects the lanes to reopen mid to late afternoon.
