CUMBERLAND — The annual Patriot Day event will have a reenactment and an energetic performance from “Flashback” during its Saturday celebration from 1-5 p.m. at the Cumberland Courthouse.

The free event will also have assorted food, games, crafts and a bouncy house for the younger participants.

The Patriot Day event was created as a way to honor service members in the United States.

“Flashback,” a nine-member music group based in Richmond, performs engaging medleys of well-known songs from the 1980s to present day.

The reenactment performing during the celebration is called “First Call for Independence.”
