The 42nd annual Outdoor Arts Festival at Heart of Virginia Festival promises to be another quality show this year.

We hope you will take a stroll May 6 through the beautiful displays of pottery, paintings, jewelry, woodwork, photography and more.

The lawn and colonnade around the Rotunda at Longwood University will be pretty well covered with items for sale.

Some names you will recognize are Tray Eppes, Nancy Lockwood, Leah Olivier, Cynthia Devlin, Judith Ligon, Jennifer Paxton, William Clarke and others.

Two Cub Creek Foundation residents will also be there to show their work.

Waterworks Community Players will have their photo booth set up at the art show so you can dress up in their costumes and get your picture taken.

Central Virginia Arts (CVA) has been a great friend of the Outdoor Arts Festival and will have a booth set up so you can find out more about what they do as they support the arts in Central Virginia.

Many of the CVA members are showing their work May 6.

CVA also donated the Best of Show award and is sponsoring the after show reception for the artists at Red Door 104.
