Farmville resident Weldon Smith is the winner of The Herald’s “When will it snow” contest, where readers predict the first measurable snow in Farmville officially recorded by WFLO Radio Station. Smith predicted the snow for Jan. 7, forecasting 3.5 inches at 1 a.m. The contest was sponsored by Finch Excavation of Farmville.
