I, too, want to thank Dr. Ray Gaskins for his articles in The Farmville Herald. I enjoy them so much that I cut them out and mail them to a family member who does not take the paper. He loves Farmville and Prince Edward County, also.

I also enjoy the 50 Years Ago page. Reading recently the headlines about Charlie Rosser brought back memories of good old Worsham High School years. Charlie and I graduated the same year together. I’m proud he made a good life for himself and his family. Too short, of course.

I’m getting used to the new format. Can’t say I liked it instantly. Guess it’s my age; it takes time to get used to something new.
