The Ruth Adams Garden Club began their new year on September 28. Members gathered flowers and other plant materials from their yards and headed to the Prince Edward County Extension Office.

For the program, Katy Overby, Prince Edward Extension Agent, demonstrated creative arrangements using seasonal materials on hand. Overby also taught the group how to create a tall arrangement from materials she had gathered. Following the demonstration, members shared materials and created original, unique arrangements for their homes.

Hostess for this meeting was Betty McBride and co-hostess was Carol Fields.
