Marvin Conrad Goin

Marvin Conrad Goin, 65 of Farmville, passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2016. He was born on August 18, 1951 to the late “Tommy” Conrad Goin and Evelyn Smith Goin. He graduated from Prince Edward Academy and was an avid Yankee fan. His passion was motorcycles and loved spending time riding with Caren and friends.
He worked for VDOT for 32 years and recently retired.
He is survived by his wife, Caren Vinall Goin; his children, Kristofer Goin (Kim) of Charlotte County, Samantha Goin of Roanoke, Christopher Humeston of GA, Nicholas Humeston (Elisa) of AL, and Neisha Wagner (Brian) of Atlanta, GA; nine grandchildren, Kaylee Goin, Gavin Hart, Rachel Goin, Alexis Robins, Mackenzie Hart, Leeanne Stembridge, Madison Duncan, Andrew Wagner, and Matthew Wagner; and a sister-in-law Debra Goin. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Lindsey Goin and a brother, Michael Goin.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 9 at 1 p.m. at Puckett Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Puckett Funeral Home.
