JROTC Raiders are champs again

The Buckingham JROTC Raider Team became the overall champion of a raider competition for the third week in a row on Oct. 29. Led by Trenton Houser and Rachael Pugh, the team won first place in the following events: PT, fireman’s carry, rope bridge and 5K. The team earned second place in the litter carry. Destiny Sutton was the top female for pushups, performing 53 in 1 minute. Morgan Pugh was the top female for sit-ups, also performing 53 in 1 minute. She was also named the overall female athlete, earning 262 out of 300 points. Alyssa True took the top female run with a 1-mile time of 6:04. Trenton Houser earned 272 out of 300 points to be named top male athlete.
