Andrews joins bank

The Bank of Charlotte County recently announced the appointment of Lauren T. Andrews, the daughter of Randy and Debra Andrews, of Charlotte Court House, as its Bank Secrecy Act officer. In this role, Andrews will be responsible for managing the functions associated with the bank’s program of compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and deposit regulations, according to a Bank of Charlotte County press release.

Andrews most recently served as a field representative for U.S. Rep. Robert Hurt in his Farmville office. She has also served as a magistrate for the 10th Judicial District of Virginia, an adjunct professor at Southside Virginia Community College and law clerk in the Henrico Circuit Court.
